We will drive by car to the reindeer farm, where you will have the opportunity to meet the reindeer and enjoy a 2.5 km reindeer sleigh ride through the peaceful Arctic surroundings. There will also be plenty of time to take pictures and enjoy this authentic local experience. After the ride, the herder will share stories about reindeer herding and the traditional way of life in Lapland. We will then enjoy a refreshing cup of coffee and cookies before driving back to Rovaniemi. Optional snowmobile experience: For those looking for an extra dose of Arctic adventure, upon return to Rovaniemi can be upgraded to a snowmobile safari , riding through the winter landscape and across the frozen river, weather and ice conditions permitting.
